NOTE:These indications are only for use with embryonic plant stem cell tissues. Adult plants do not have the same constituents, actions or applications in most cases.
The Fagus sylvatica is a wind-pollinated, deciduous tree that is known for its mild-flavored leaves and sweet-tasting seeds, hence the name Fagus, a Greek word meaning to eat. The tree is known to grow as tall as 140 feet and spread as far as 130 feet in diameter in its native British soils. The long, slender buds of the Fagus Sylvatica run all along its smooth, thin twigs in early spring, a bud tipping the end of each twig. Its small flowers are ornamentally insignificant and are partially obscured by the tree’s expanding foliage. Its dark green, oval leaves are 2 to 4 inches long with veins on both sides of the midrib. Its fruits, triangular-shaped, reddish-brown seeds known as “mast,” are encased in soft brown barbs. The lifespan of the Fagus sylvatica ranges from 150 to 200 years, though it’s been known to live as long as 300 years.
The wood of the Fagus sylvatica is brittle and short grained. Though not appropriate for heavy structural support, the wood is well suited for minor carpentry, particularly chairs, parquet flooring, and staircases. It also makes good stonemason’s mallets, wooden bowls, and granary shovels. The tree also attracts wildlife and its mast is used for feeding swine and fattening domestic poultry, especially turkeys and pigs.
Phytosociology: The Fagus sylvatica, when used as hedge, retains its leaves during the winter (shedding them the following spring), thus providing a shield to the more vulnerable plants near its base. This screening effect provides a vivid correlation to the warming property this tree’s extract provides to the human body. Taken in extract, its warming property builds strength and durability and provides support in infection.
Bach flower application: For someone who finds it hard not to criticize the way in which other people act, speak or do things. The positive quality of this remedy is to promote understanding and lenience.
The bark is antacid, antipyretic, antiseptic, antitussive, expectorant, odontalgic. A tar (or creosote), obtained by dry distillation of the branches, is stimulating and antiseptic. It is used internally as a stimulating expectorant and externally as an application to various skin diseases, the pure creosote has been used to give relief from toothache, but it should not be used without expert guidance.

Buds of Beech contains cysteine which works has a proteinase inhibitors that reduce the amount of viruses in the blood and increase CD4 cell counts. Cysteine is one of two sulfur-containing amino acids; the other is methionine. Cysteine differs from serine in a single atom– the sulfur of the thiol replaces the oxygen of the alcohol. The amino acids are, however, much more different in their physical and chemical properties than their similarity might suggest. Cysteine also plays a key role in stabilizing extracellular proteins. Cysteine can react with itself to form an oxidized dimer by formation of a disulfide bond. The environment within a cell is too strongly reducing for disulfides to form, but in the extracellular environment, disulfides can form and play a key role in stabilizing many such proteins, such as the digestive enzymes of the small intestine.
Plant Stem Cell Therapy Indications:
‘P’ It is a remedy for pulmonary fibro sclerosis & renal nephroangiosclerosis & intertestitial nephritis.
‘P’ Excellent in hypogammaglobulinemia it stimulates the immunoglobulin like no other buds can. Especially in immune suppressed anergic states such as AIDS or chronic allergies and chemical sensitivities. Increase CD4 T-Helper cell counts.
‘P’ Epstein Barr Virus or Mononucleosis. It is also indicated in Infections: colibacillosis, Escherichia coli septicaemia, Colisepticaemia, Colisepticemia infections. Proteinase inhibitors.
‘P’ Pulmonary Fibrosclerosis.
Renal – Uro Genital System:
P Diuretic. Reduces Uric Acid. Nephritis, renal nephroangiosclerosis & intertestitial nephritis.
GI – Digestive – Hepatology:
‘A’ It increases hepatic macrophage activity. Reduces Cholesterol, Hepatitis A-B & C. Celiac Disease when associated with low globulin. Ponderal surcharge, Obesity with cellulite, over eating with water retention. Carbonic Constitution.
Cardio Vascular System:
‘A’ It intervenes in the process of atheromatosis (thickening of the arteries). Lipid peroxidation in blood, liver, and kidney associated with diabetes mellitus declined after the administration of isorhamnetin which this plant contains.
‘A’ Topical and Oral Effects on Skin from the use of Beech Buds. The key weapon in this anti-aging skin from within, reduce dark circles, provide active cell turnover, reduce lines and wrinkles, and enhance skin elasticity. Increases collagen and elastin because of the content of Hydroxyproline and plant growth hormones accelerate repair of the skin.
