NOTE: These indications are only for use with embryonic plant stem cell tissues. Adult plants do not have the same constituents, actions or applications in most cases.

This stately and picturesque evergreen conifer grows in Lebanon, Turkey, and Syria and can reach a height of 98 feet, though most top out around 50 to 70 feet. A mature Cedrus libani is as wide as it is tall and is cherished for its majestic beauty, with some specimens standing as long as a thousand years. The Cedrus libani has a massive trunk with very wide-spreading horizontal branches. Its stiff, inch-long leaves are dark blue-green and are arranged in dense clusters on short shoots. Flowering occurs only in trees that are 25 to 30 years old; its 2-inch catkins are reddish in color. Seed ripening occurs from August to October. In classic cedar form, the tree’s 5 inch, barrel-shaped cones are held erect on its branches.

The Cedrus libani has had numerous uses. Its moderately hard and durable wood makes it ideal for construction work. In addition, an oil similar to turpentine is obtained from the wood as is an essential oil that is used in perfumery.

Bach flower applications: Increases strength and endurance during difficult times. Encourages the ability to hold steady and persevere. Supports confidence in challenging situations. Grounding.

Cedrus libani are widely used as traditional medicine in Lebanon for treatment of different infection diseases. In the present study we reported the phytochemical composition analyzed by GC-MS of wood essential oil and cones and leaves ethanol extracts. The main components of wood essential oil were himachalol (22.50%), beta-himachalene (21.90%), and alpha-himachalene (10.50%). Leaves ethanol extract was characterized by a high content of germacrene d (29.40%). The same extract obtained from cones essentially contained alpha-pinene (51.0%) and beta-myrcene (13.0%). Moreover, we investigated extracts, essential oil, and identified compounds for their in vitro antiviral activities against herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Cytotoxicity was evaluated by MTT assay in Vero cells. Cones and leaves ethanol extracts exhibited an interesting activity with IC50 of 0.50 and 0.66 mg/ml, respectively, at non-cytotoxic concentration. A comparable activity was found when essential oil was tested (IC50 of 0.44 mg/ml).

Himachalol from Cedrus Libani has shown potent anti-allergic activity.

Sesquiterpenes the AMA determined that if they could find a drug that would cross the BBB, they would be able to cure Alzheimer’s, MS, Parkinson’s, and Lou Gehrig’s disease.

June 1994 Medical University of Berlin and Vienna documented the phytochemical sesquiterpenes have the ability to cross BBB.

Sesquiterpene compounds, therefore, show promise as clinically-acceptable skin penetration enhancers. Sesquiterpenes are anti-inflammatory, calming, and bactericidal, including skin hydration, anti-wrinkle activity and skin toning. Cedar wood and young shoots is highest in sesquiterpenes

Plant Stem Cell Therapy Indications:

Anti-aging of the Skin and Brain.

Dermatology – Allergy:

‘A’ Anti-inflammatory, topical Insecticidal. Antiparasitic, Antibacterial, Anticandida, Scabies infections and to heal wounds in humans and domestic animals, both internally and externally. Himachalol from Cedrus Libani has shown potent anti-allergic activity. Dry Eczema – (dry white crusty skin) – Psoriasis, Pruritus, Hyper-Keratosis, chronic dermatitis, lichenoid dermatosis, Callosity, Diaper Rashes, Dermatitis Herpetiformis (in Celiac Disease), anti aging of the skin. Dry skin and Anti-Wrinkle. Also works on the Elastin and Collagen of the skin. Anti-furrow; Furrows are where there may be wrinkle lines complicated by the loss of subcutaneous fat and/or ligament support. Increases the ability of the skin &/or scalp to retain water. This is a Botox equivalent over a six month period excellent for dry skin. Hair loss, Dandruff, dry skin accompanied with acne. If Oily Acne then use Elm. Himachalol from Cedrus Libani has shown potent anti-allergic activity especially skin allergic reaction. Leaf and bread molds phycomycotic diseases. Topical Deet alternative 1, 15ml bottle diluted in 20 ounces of distilled water and put into a frosted plastic spray bottle and used as a natural Repellent of Ticks and Mosquitoes. Keep away from eyes also can be used on animals in place of Frontline toxic products.

Endocrine System:

‘A’ Diabetes, inhibit amylase, excellent in acute and chronic pancreatitis.

‘A’ Blepharitis pruritus. Dry eyes that fissure (add Holly with Cedar of Lebanon) or if ulcerated (add Bilberry).

‘A’ Chronic intoxications, Scleroderma, Allergies, Pulmonary Irritations. Will increase the activities of the Natural Killer Cells. Auto immune conditions.

Infectious Diseases:

‘A’ Antiviral Herpes Simplex HSV1. Scabies, Molluscicidal activity. Antiviral, Antifungal, Expectorant, Lymphatic cleanser.

‘A’ Antitumor. Cytotoxicity against human epidermal carcinoma of the nasopharynx. Sesquiterpenes can also erase or deprogram miswritten codes in cellular memory (DNA). The root problem with a cancer cell is that it contains misinformation, and sesquiterpenes can delete that garbled information.

Neurological/Nervous System:

investigational ‘P’ Anxiety, Insomnia since it stimulates the Pineal gland which releases melatonin. Potential for Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Lou Gehrig’s disease. Has calming and purifying properties. High in sesquiterpenes which can stimulate the limbic part of the brain (the center of our emotions), this conifer oil has been used by North American Indians to enhance spiritual awareness and communication. It also may help stimulate the pineal gland, which releases melatonin. High Sesquiterpenes compounds that have been shown to increase oxygen around receptor sites around the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus. They are responsible for the secretion of human growth hormone (hGH).

Research indicates that sesquiterpenes they play a major role in detoxifying petrochemicals by products known to clogged the receptor sites and prevent receptivity in the brain. Sesquiterpenes are cerebral stimulant giving mental energy help in clearing “brain fog” improves cognitive function that people experience due to these xenobiotics from synthetic chemical foods, skin and hair care by products with petrochemicals like propylene glycol and breathing heavy chemical-laden air such has air fresheners and synthetic perfumes. Brain Power may increase mental cognitive function, mental clarity, and long term use may retard the aging process of the brain. It may also support and strengthen immune function. Given for hysteria and neurotic conditions. Release hormones, endorphins and neurotransmitters. Sesquiterpenes which delete or erase misinformation written in the DNA as a result of trauma, abuse, loss, ancestral or generational, and limiting beliefs.

Environmental Medicine:

‘A’ sesquiterpenes play a major role in detoxifying by petrochemicals known to clogged the receptor sites and prevent receptivity.

Topical use:

For scabies use 1 drop on each affected area every 2 hour 4 to 6 times per day. Takes around 10 applications to be eradicated. Could potentially be a DEET replacement due to a “novel sesquiterpene Isolongifolenone” Repellent of Ticks and Mosquitoes.Combats hair loss alopecia areata. Cuts or wounds to disinfect and protect from infection.

Musculoskeletal System:

‘A’ The Antispasmolytic activity was similar to that of papaverine as observed by the effect of himachalol on various isolated smooth muscles and several agonists.Fibromyalgia.
