Part Used:

Young Shoots

NOTE: These indications are only for use with embryonic plant stem cell tissues. Adult plants do not have the same constituents, actions or applications in most cases.

15 to 20 feet wide. This noble tree is native to the mountains of Central Europe and is long-lived, with an average lifespan of 400 to 500 years. Resin-filled blisters protrude from the smooth, thin bark of younger trees, while the aging Abies Pectinata tends toward deformed growth with cracking and scaling of its silver-grey bark. Flattened, needle-like leaves grow from opposite sides of its branches, spreading horizontally, shiny green on the upper side, silvery white underneath. The fruits of the Abies pectinata are cones that remain upright on the top branches until autumn when they break up. Cones are 3.5 to 6.7 inches long and 1.2 to 1.6 inches broad, with about 150 to 200 scales. Scales have a projecting bract and two winged seeds that disintegrate when mature to release the seeds.

Edible uses include gum, tea, powder (made from the inner bark for use with grain flours). Other uses include crude turpentine, soap. The straight-grained wood of the tree is strong and is used for a wide variety of constructional purposes.

Edible: Gum; Inner bark; Tea. Young shoot tips are used as a substitute for tea. The pitch obtained from the bark can be hardened and used as a chewing gum. Inner bark can be dried, ground into a powder and then used with grain flours, etc., to make bread and other preparations.

Contraindications:

Do not use in hyper parathyroid or hyper accumulator of calcium with urinary calcic stones.

Plant Stem Cell Therapy Indications:
Polycrest all

Pediatric Polycrest par excellence for growth problems in bone formation. Its action on calcium fixation, phosphoric – calcium facilitates its absorption and regulates mineral balance and prevents demineralization. Consolidates fractures. Osteoblast stimulatory action.

Musculoskeletal System:

Decalcification, Osteoporosis in post menopausal, Osteochondritis, Stimulates bone growth, Excellent in growing pains, Osteomyelitis, Infantile Fractures, Demineralization, Phosphoric – Calcium metabolic problems, Vertebra, Colon, Epiphysis’s, Rickets, Spasmophilia, Fibromyalgia in pediatric. Children growing too rapidly. Antiinflammatory, Analgesic and hence it is a good remedy for people suffering from joint pain, arthritis, and rheumatism. Within bone, silica is the essential component making up the collagen matrix upon which calcium is deposited. This relationship is so fundamental that it is truly impossible to form bone without both calcium and silica. Silica in adequate quantities creates supple arteries and veins and is effective in removing plaque from artery walls. This has actually been known since 1958 when Loeper and Loeper found arteriosclerotic artery walls showed excessively high levels of calcium and lower than normal levels of in silica. Borneol, bornyl acetate, a and b-phallandrene, a and b-pinene and 3-carene. The therapeutic properties of Silver Fir young shoots are antimicrobial, antineuralgic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, balsamic, cholagogue, deodorant, diuretic, expectorant, insecticidal, restorative, rubefacient, adrenal cortex stimulant as well as stimulant to the circulation and nervous system.

Infectious Diseases:

Non Streptococcal sore throat infections. Receding or chronic tonsillitis. Hypertrophy of the lymph nodes. Wasting Syndrome in AIDS. Inhibitory Effects on Epstein-Barr Virus Activation. Ohtsu et al., 2001, Planta Med, 67:55-60.

Resin acids are known to have antibacterial activity and are valued in traditional medicine for their antiseptic properties. Antiinflammatory activity. Acts as an agonist of PPARs (peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors), which is a ligand-activated nuclear transcription factor that regulate lipid metabolism and homeostasis. PPAR-gamma subtypes has been shown to mediate anti-inflammatory effects on macrophages once it is activated so if dehydroabietic acid DAA stimulates PPAR-gamma subtypes release by binding to its receptor then it can induce anti-inflammatory response on macrophages thereby inhibiting the pro-inflammatory cytokine release from macrophages. Chemopreventive activity of “rosin”.

Lauraldehyde (Dodecanal) C12H24O: Anti-HIV virucidal. Into the stomach transforms into 2-Monolaurin, which is a substance that has anti-antimicrobial properties. Aldehydes can, typically in the presence of suitable catalysts, serve as partners in cyclo addition reactions.

Dental:

Dental cavities by reducing the acid PH of the mouth. Poor enamel of the teeth.

Hematology – Oncology:

Potential treatment for Leukemia due to its stimulation of the bone marrow. Erythropoiesis Stimulation, Anemia. Novel use of abietic acid or derivatives thereof for inhibiting the growth of a cervical carcinoma cells, hepatocellular carcinoma cells, or breast cancer cells, cancer cellor treating a cancer, preferably, reducing the tumor size of the cancer. GI Digestive System:

Anorexia, Inappetence, Celiac Disease, Facilitates Calcium Fixation. Rich in Copper. Anorexia, Inappetence, Celiac Disease, Facilitates Calcium Fixation. Rich in Copper. It is also helpful in purifying the body due to its ability to treat intestinal problems. Also used in case of Pediatric or Greiatric frail individual afflicted by food poisoning. Decyl-Aldehyde: The digestive tract (DT) is known to display active defense against exogenous bacteria. Since most probiotic strains are originally selected for their fermentation properties, regardless of their survival rate or metabolic activity in the DT, their intestinal fate is worth investigating. Lactobacillus casei is considered a beneficial bacterium. Studies have suggested that L. casei DN-114 001 reduces acute diarrhea in healthy children, modulates ex vivo the production of proinflammatory cytokines in Crohn’s disease and enhances the immune system during its transit in the DT.

In conclusion, this study investigated the physiological state of ingested bacteria in the different parts of the DT for the first time. The results demonstrate that L. casei DN-114 001lux survives DT transit and can synthesize proteins starting at the ileal level. These findings strengthen the credibility of this probiotic strain and claims concerning its health benefits.
